Ceramic Nymphs (olive and orange)
These are classic French nymph patterns tied by Stan Freyheit in France. The bodies are lead wire covered with a special painting process. The result is a sleek hydrodynamic fly that sinks very quickly. They imitate caddis larvae or scuds well and are perfect for sight fishing as well as covering water.
Note: because the weight is only covered by paint, they are not legal in FIPS Mouche competitions
