Wilcox Special
I use these in size #14 to fish the Guadalupe River here in Texas. They have been very affective in May and June for Bluegills and Bass. I have had as many as 30 strikes in one hour using the Wilcox Special. They strike it very hard and mostly miss as they seem to want it so bad. It rides very high in the water so it’s easy to keep in sight. Very effective fly especially when the river is smooth with little current.
