Whether or not you have big chironomids around, large "bomber" chironomids can be good for stillwater trout. If you happen to hit a heavy hatch of smaller chironomids, then a "bomber" can often set itself apart from the rest of the feast. This "bomber" pattern features a white brass bead and can be fished under an indicator or naked on a midge tip line.
