rod review on Orvis 10ft 3wt Clearwater
I've had a chance to fish this rod a number of times this summer and I'm really impressed with it in terms of casting accuracy, lightness and overall feel & sense of contact with the flies. The reel seat has been a bit problematic in that it often tends to loosen on it's own, which leaves me wrapping it with electrical tape to keep it tight and in place. But even with that issue, for the money I wouldn't trade this rod. It is head and shoulders above an entry level euro nymphing rod I purchased while living in Europe a few years ago. It's been a really enjoyable rod to fish.
