Pearlescent brown perdigon

( 2 Reviews )

These perdigons are a nice mimic for brownish/olive mayfly nymphs with a little flash to set them apart. Tied by Cesar Dominquez and Oscar Quevedo Iglesias of Spain.

Brown Perdigon

Great fly. Well made. Sinks well. Hook is quality and comes standard barbless which I like. Have caught a bunch of wild trout on this fly.

Consistently Effective

I bought this along with several other size 12 Perdigons. I fished them twice so far in the Northfields section of the Middle Provo. They all caught fish. The Provo was running about 370 cfs and two of these were needed to cut through the heavier water, but the typical run could be swept with a twelve and a fourteen. Riffles were fished successfully with a single fly.
