I've used Riberfly hooks for a couple of years now. Great hooks, sharp points, excellent fish holding capability. I'm not sure about the poor review listed above, but I've had great success with these hooks. Strong enough for big fish and a great price point. I hope that Devin keeps these stocked. Fish caught up to the 20" mark and these hooks are solid. I haven't experienced any breakage in these hooks. Definitely one of my go to hooks for trout.
I bought a few 50 packs hoping to find a less expensive alternative to a Hanak or Umqua. After bent hooks and even broken hooks (literally snapped at the hook bend) I have lost confidence in these. I have never had this issue. I almost always fish 5x and get fish on the reel to utilize the drag system. Although in larger sizes they seem to work well, I do not recommend them in anything smaller than a size 10, especially if you have a chance at any trout over 18-inches. In the case of smaller hook sizes I suppose they would work for trout species under 12-inches generally. It was worth a try for the price. But I will be going back to the good stuff. Thanks
